Velkommen til en erfaren vertskapsby! Rundt 9000 arrangementer finner sted i Bergensregionen hvert år, og regionen er vert for rundt 60 små og store festivaler. 

Vi tilbyr kostnadsfrie, uforpliktende råd og assistanse til lag og foreninger, bedrifter og andre som vurderer Bergen som destinasjon for sitt neste møte, konferanse, kongress eller incentive reise.

Fra Bjarne O. Braastad, Professor i etologi, dr.philos.,- Leder, Organisasjonskomiteen for ISAE 2019:

"The world congress ISAE 2019 (on behaviour and welfare of farm animals and companion animals) was developed with enthusiastic support from both Visit Bergen / Bergen Convention Bureau and the chosen PCO company, First United AS. The PCO had excellent cooperation with the congress venue, the Radisson Blu Royal hotel, situated by the end of Bryggen, the old wharf area which is a UNESCO world heritage site. The congress gathered 416 participants from 37 countries, 40 % more than at the two previous congresses, and everything from the design of the session rooms to excursions and social events went smoothly. As Head of the Organizing Committee, I received numerous comments after the congress typically stating that this was among the best organized congresses they ever had attended, and at such a fantastic venue. I highly recommend other conference organizers to consider Bergen for their conference.”  

Fra Heidi Berg, Norsk Fjellsprengningsteknikk - Chairman World Tunnel Congress 2017:

"Bergen as a destination, has been perfect for the conference and Grieghallen was a very suitable venue for the WTC 2017. For the delgates attending the congress it is important to spend a lot of time together during lunches and coffee breaks. The venue had the capacity that we need for this function. The conference  covered 1304 delegates, 401 exhibitors and posters. There where 5 breakout rooms and 13 active working groups.

The city of Bergen do have a lot of special places to visit and also suitable social venues for dinner in the city centre, within walking distance from the venue. Excellent co-operation between the venue and the PCO -  local knowledge and flexibility is the key word!"
